Junior Marketing Associate

Job Description
 
NYC-based multi-billion-dollar hedge fund is seeking a hard-working and self-motivated professional to join the Investor Relations/Marketing Team. The candidate will work with an experienced team located in Midtown Manhattan





Responsibilities:

·        Provide comprehensive support for Investor Relations/ Marketing Team
·        Ongoing maintenance and monitoring of IR and marketing activity inclusive of:
·        Supporting team in tracking existing investor and potential investor data requests;
·        Monitoring IR email inbox, including tracking and resolving inbound inquiries by deadline.
·        Production, on-going maintenance of CRM (Dynamo Software) system
·        Prepare periodic market recaps for internal distribution;
·        Prepare marketing reports and materials for internal meetings;
·        Research potential investors and monitor activity to identify marketing opportunities;
·        Perform competitor research and analysis;
·        Provide various ad hoc data research and analysis as needed;
·        Subscription/redemption/transfer tracking and liaising with administrator;
·        Shadow meetings to gain an awareness of investment protocols related to reporting and investing for various funds.
·        Provide administrative support to senior executives, including but not limited to answering direct phone calls and maintaining filing systems;
·        Assist in daily and weekly calendar management including scheduling & rescheduling appointments and coordinating with attendees;
·        Assist in general office upkeep as needed.





Qualifications

·        Must possess a 4-year college degree, relevant coursework completed in marketing, communications, and/or finance preferred
·        0 -1+ years prior experience in marketing, communications, or financial services preferred
·        Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet project deadlines
·        High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy
·        Ability to be in-office 5 days per week (with flexibility to WFH on Fridays during summer)
·        Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
