Digital Marketing Intern

Title: Digital Marketing Intern
ACE Digital Marketing Interns are an essential part of ACE's mission to combat political polarization by creating a more objective, informed, democratically-engaged generation. We are seeking students with an interest in Digital Marketing to work with our Leadership Team this Spring Semester on the building and execution of ACE’s Social Media strategy.

Marketing Interns will work on a team alongside ACE’s Marketing Director and will have an opportunity to make an impact with real-time, hands-on Digital Marketing - involved in all stages of social media campaigns from strategic planning to result analysis. Your work will drive and shape ACE’s marketing strategy. All Marketing Intern teams are led by ACE’s Marketing Director who has over 30 years of Direct Marketing expertise. Teams meet remotely once every week.

Opportunities:

  • Drafting copy/developing assets for ACE’s social media accounts
  • Expanding ACE’s Social media presence to new platforms
  • Assisting with community management across all social accounts 
  • Interpreting metrics reports 
  • Supporting the team with various content/communication projects.

Key information:
  • Time Commitment: 10 hours per week
  • Start and End Dates: January 30th, 2023 - April 30th 2022
  • Application Deadline: December 20th 2022
  • This internship is unpaid. 

Essential Skills:
  • Applicants should be self motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong organization and time management abilities
  • Motivated to take on new initiatives
  • Ability to work well both independently and with others and respond well to feedback
  • Internet savvy, with some exposure to social media platforms and analytics
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing or a related field
  • 0-2 years of marketing experience through internships and coursework 


Technical Platforms:

  • ACE utilizes Canvas to track and store all written work and for communication between Interns, Fellows, Research Associates, and other members of the organization. Previous experience with Canvas is not mandatory, but Interns must be willing to learn how to navigate the platform and utilize it for all communications.
  • Previous experience with Google Drive is not mandatory, but useful.

We are looking for enthusiastic students from all disciplines who share our belief that democracy works best when citizens are actively informed and engaged.

Note: Students interested in seeking course credit for this internship should inquire with your academic advisor. ACE will work with the you and your college advisor on achieving desired learning outcomes and completing all necessary paperwork.
