Marketing & Merchandising Specialist
Dakota State University is seeking applications for a Marketing and Merchandising Specialist in the Trojan Zone. The Trojan Zone is the one-stop shop for all DSU licensed apparel and gifts.
Responsibilities:
- Select retail products for sale both in store and online.
- Use social media to enhance the customer base for the store.
- Manage the e-commerce website (product availability, pricing, images, descriptions, etc.
- Supervise a team of student employees.
- Greet and assist customers with purchases in store, online, and over the phone.
- Use the inventory program to receive products and track invoices/credits.
- Create purchase orders and process invoices.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of marketing and merchandising practices.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior time management and organization skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent customer service skills
