Marketing Internship

We are excited to offer a marketing internship opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-rounded marketing professional to implement and execute our company's marketing initiatives.
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to manage various aspects of our daily marketing activities, working closely with the sales department to support their efforts in the field. Your responsibilities will include:

Brand Management

  • Managing the company's social media presence on various platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google+
  • Designing brand-consistent marketing collateral, such as product and service brochures, print and digital ads, event collateral, sales presentations, and digital graphics using Canva, Photoshop, and PowerPoint
  • Working collaboratively with leadership and managing relationships with vendor marketing teams
  • Keeping up-to-date with new advances in technology and application trends, providing research on how to implement them within our organization to enhance sales results and brand identity

Marketing Initiatives

  • Creating and executing an annual marketing calendar, managing inbound marketing campaigns consistent with overall vision and strategy, including email marketing, landing pages, social media, and company blog
  • Managing website content and SEO efforts in WordPress and HubSpot
  • Using Google Analytics and other web analytical tools to track campaign trends, develop performance reports, and recommend improvements
  • Assigning and managing intern and/or freelance content contributors as available
  • Marketing internally to our team to promote core values and company culture, working closely with the Social Committee
  • Working with the team to plan corporate events such as holiday parties, sales kick-off meetings, customer technology shows, and lunch and learns

CRM Administration / Sales Support

  • Performing CRM platform maintenance and administration, assigning accounts, organizing data across various business units, maintaining data accuracy, and creating new users with the appropriate access settings
  • Serving as the point of contact for the sales department regarding CRM functionality and updates
  • Providing training to new users and scheduling regular targeted training sessions for the sales department on CRM functionality as well as leveraging other marketing tools like LinkedIn
  • Preparing, maintaining, and distributing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports for executive managers
  • Assisting with internal sales trainings and meeting presentations

Qualifications

  • Minimum two to four years of relevant marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field of study
  • Solid understanding of professional services marketing in a B2B arena
  • Previous exposure to a CRM/ERP/website is a plus
  • Experience creating and managing inbound marketing campaigns using HubSpot is a plus
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and how to interpret results to make marketing improvements
  • Design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of content management systems, basic HTML, and SEO (WordPress is a plus)
  • Experience administering a CRM platform for marketing and metrics (Salesforce experience is a big plus)
  • Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment
  • Responds in a timely manner to issues, concerns, or requests from the sales department and executive team
  • Must have a professional, cooperative, positive, and flexible attitude
  • Possesses essential customer service philosophies
  • Functions successfully with minimal supervision
