Intern, Marketing

The Marketing Internship provides an opportunity for students currently pursuing a marketing, communications, or business-related degree to get hands on experience working with the Digital Content team within Corporate Marketing. You will contribute to projects and advance our existing programs. This intern will take ownership of conducting website and content audits that will provide actionable intelligence for the brand’s content development.

This position will work on a hybrid schedule (onsite & remote) and will be based in Cincinnati, OH or Wilmington, DE. The intern will need to be available to work for 12 weeks over the course of the summer, and will work part-time hours (20-25 hours per week). This is a paid internship that will pay $18 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop website audit process to review content for brand consistency, accuracy, and seasonality in collaboration with Corporate Marketing team; Implement changes to the brand’s digital content hub as a result of the audit
  • Track and manage site audit outcomes against digital content metrics to make informed decisions aligned with brand’s digital content development
  • Identify opportunities to develop new or enhance existing content with additional art assets (infographics, animations, etc.)
  • Use web analytics to measure the impact of content campaigns
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
  • Be a rising sophomore or higher working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or other related degree, or equivalent job-related work experience
  • Can be available part-time (20 hours/week) a minimum of 12 weeks during the summer months
  • Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
  • Strong grammar, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Must have familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve

Working Conditions:
  • Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting, air conditioning, heating, and normal range of noise level.
  • Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking and/or standing; minimal lifting and/or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
