The Opportunity
In this ever-evolving world of media, we’re always on the lookout for talented future media stars to help make a big impact on our work. In this role, you will get valuable media planning experience along with exposure to digital and broadcast investment.  You will develop a strong media foundation through target and market analysis, strategy development and plan management. During this internship you will have a rotation within the digital team for hands-on experience managing paid search, social and programmatic campaigns as well as a rotation within broadcast investment for experience buying tv and radio. Experience via a previous media internship and/or coursework in media planning (including digital media) is a huge plus. Attention to detail, on-point communications, organizational skills and positive energy are strong requirements for this hands-on internship!
 
Roles & Responsibilities: 
Proactively collaborate with media, account and creative teams to ensure campaign success 
  • Planning team (50% of time)
  • Works directly with manager on managing integrated media plans for all assigned clients
  • Maintains the client flowchart including ongoing actualizations
  • Provides analysis on target and competitive research
  • Evaluates partner opportunities and contributes to client facing POVs
  • Responsible for contracting print, OOH and direct digital buys
  • Digital team (35% of time)
  • Works directly with manager on implementation and reporting of digital campaigns across multiple tactics (i.e. paid search, social and programmatic)
  • Creates tags and correctly traffics creative to vendors in a timely manner
  • Implement site analytic event tag URL extensions
  • Monitors all live campaigns for proper serving, click through action and conversion events
  • Aggregates data into dashboard platforms
  • Broadcast team (15% of time)
  • Works directly with manager on uploading campaign goals, creation of request for proposals, estimation of program ratings by station and daypart, building and confirming tv and radio buys
  • Helps with buy reconciliation ensuring all tv and radio buys ran as scheduled, this includes managing makegoods, under delivery and posting buys
Requirements:
  • Internships are open to graduating college seniors and recent grads with majors in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, media and related fields
