Marketing Fellow (Summer)
Goza's Summer 2023 Marketing Fellows Program is a low-commitment, part-time opportunity meant to introduce students to the exciting world of social media marketing and business entrepreunership.
Goza is a startup social networking and dating app company that's expanding its presence in New York City and other cities. As a Marketing Fellow with Goza, you'll gain education and hands-on experience in the world of social media marketing and entrepreneurship. College credit is available for eligible students.
Responsibilities:
- Attend a weekly educational session on social media marketing
- Conduct market research on dating and dating apps to help inform the company's marketing strategy
- Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing plan for Goza
- Create compelling marketing content (including social media posts, blog articles, and email campaigns) that resonates with the target audience
- Assist with the planning and execution of promotional campaigns to drive user acquisition and retention
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and suggest improvements based on data analysis
- Collaborate with other team members, including designers and developers, to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with the overall product strategy
- Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and techniques, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the company's marketing efforts
Qualifications:
- A strong interest in marketing and/or entrepreneurship
- Pursuing a degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field is preferred (but not required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of social media platforms
- Ability to conduct market research and analyze data to inform marketing decisions
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team
- Passion for the dating app industry and a desire to learn and grow in this field
This is a low-commitment, remote fellowship position.
The Marketing Fellows will work together and also report directly to the Founder & CEO and work closely with other team members to ensure the success of Goza's marketing efforts. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing, interested in the dating app industry, and looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment. College credit is available for eligible students.
