Intern, Marketing

The Marketing Internship provides an opportunity for students currently pursuing a marketing or communications related degree to get hands on experience working with the Insurance and Financial Services Marketing team. You will contribute to projects and advance our existing programs.

This position will work on a hybrid schedule (onsite & remote) and will be based in Cincinnati, OH. The position will work part-time, 20 -25 hours per week. This is a paid internship that will pay $18 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Track marketing data and campaign performance
  • Assess effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with Marketing and other teams to uncover new avenues for leads and/or engagement
  • Assist in designing a marketing project from start to finish
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Be a rising sophomore or higher working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism  or other related degree, or equivalent job-related work experience
  • Can be available part-time (20 hours/ week) a minimum of 12 weeks during the summer months
  • Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
  • Strong grammar, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Must have familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve

Working Conditions (under typical circumstances):
  • Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting, air conditioning, heating, and normal range of noise level.
  • Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking and/or standing; minimal lifting and/or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
