Marketing and Proposal Coordinator
Primary Responsibilities
Pursuit management
- Collaborate with stakeholders in retail to write, design, and manage all sales collateral, including but not limited to: pitches, proposals, presentations, brochures and other pursuit-related materials.
- Develop customized and/or JLL-branded, professional-quality, impactful collateral timely and efficiently to help meet internal and external client needs.
- Manage the sales enablement process, including setting and maintaining timelines for successful delivery of materials; Act as the pursuit project manager, ensuring the right team is in place, timelines are communicated, content owners are identified and the right resources are in place to successfully execute.
- Assess requirements, acquire content from subject matter experts and team members, formulate clear and effective responses and comply with all solicitation requirements
- Research prospects’ business and objectives to contribute to sales strategy; identify appropriate content and messaging to support sales strategy.
- In partnership with Marketing, communicate service line messaging simply and impactfully through copy and design of all client-facing materials, including case studies/success stories.
- Assume accountability for quality control of all proposal/presentation deliverables. Perform copy editing and proofreading of all deliverables to quickly produce clear and accurate documents.
- Develop and collect graphics, compile content, design presentations, flip books, interactive PDFs, sales collateral, placemats, etc.
- Adopt and execute technology (i.e., Adobe Publish Online, Adobe Express, digital/interactive, Weebly) to create winning, creative presentations.
- Track the results of and collect feedback for new business pursuits
Relationship management
- Engage with numerous internal stakeholders and knowledge experts within the organization to obtain necessary information to complete business development materials.
- Ability to help experts within the business to articulate their messages succinctly and effectively.
- Partner with and tech teams to use new tools and resources to drive productivity.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with the company's values; provide excellent customer service.
Knowledge management
- Oversee content management for retail brokerage and property management, including but not limited to baseline language, business analytics, case studies, experience, and resumes
- Leverage latest internal research and communications featured in external and internal communications as well as marketing materials, proposals and pitches.
- Leverage technology tools to support team efficiently (e.g. SharePoint, MicrosoftTeams).
- Maintain library of frequently used materials, team bios and headshots, and pursuit pipeline.
- Identify best practices and innovations to improve win rates and sales efficiency.
- Develop and oversee sales and governance processes, including pipeline management, aligned with National Sales Enablement team practices.
- Generate key reports to manage pipeline and status, highlighting risks and priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum 4 to 7 years of proposal management/business development/proposal content messaging/writing
- Experience in commercial real estate industry preferred; retail industry experience is a plus
- Strong computer skills--advanced knowledge Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word)and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign); graphics and design capabilities a plus
- Working knowledge of Weebly, or a similar web-creation tool
- Ability to organize use of time in a fast-paced environment, completing multiple projects simultaneously
- Expert writing abilities--skilled at writing concise sales-driven marketing copy in a variety of voices, while equally expert at developmental editing and copyediting
- Expert project management skills, with ability to multi-task while still maintaining quality of work and meeting deadlines
- Superior organization skills--proven ability to organize content according to user needs and management feasibility
- Ability to shift easily between strategic initiatives and tactical day-to-day responsibilities
- Ability to engage and interact effectively with management and employees at all levels
